We got to coordinate our first Persian wedding, and boy was it fun! Sete and Robert were the sweetest couple to work with, so easy going and fun! They had the traditional Sofre Aghd, an elegant Persian wedding decoration which symbolizes different things: sugar cones symbolize sweetness and happiness, eggs/almonds/walnuts symbolize fertility, gold coins/bread/herbs/cheese symbolize wealth and prosperity were just a few of the many symbols.
After Sete and Robert were married they each dipped one pinky finger into a cup of honey and feed it to the other to represent sweetness in life.
The wedding was so awesome! So many sweets to share, traditional Persian desserts, baklava, and lots of dancing. Those Persians sure know how to party!! What a wonderful wedding, and we're so happy to have been a party of Sete and Robert's big day!
