Nancy and Jeffrey first met as undergrads at Stanford many years ago, and when Jeffrey moved to New York, they had to endure a long distance relationship filled with many missed phone calls, emails, and traveling back and forth. Their love for each other was very apparent every time I met with them, and so was Nancy's love for art, and it was the Andrew E Gallery where Jeffrey had proposed. Each table was named for a famous artist, the San Francisco War Memorial Green Room was decorated in rich golds, purples, and flowers that radiated with fuscia hues. Even their cake definitely had an artsy feel to it. The ceremony and reception took place in the Green Room with cocktail hour on the terrace. The day could not be more perfect for this wedding, overlooking a view of City Hall. At night, the view was spectacular. I could not be happier for NAncy and Jeffrey, congratulations again!

The Sweetest Couple! Sweethearts Vicky & Tony Tie the Knot!
It was an awesome wedding day for Vicky and Tony, one of the nicest couples I have ever worked with. All throughout the wedding day, Vicky was making sure I was alright and if I needed any help (that's my job for her!) and wanted to help in the reception set up. Silly Vicky, but what a sweet and considerate gesture.
She surprised her groom with a special performance by violinist Kippy Marks, what a great entertainer! Vicky and Tony kept their guests busy with fun activities, great music and a photobooth.
It's actually very rare when I see my brides after their wedding, but lucky me; I saw Vicky and Tony's smiling faces only two weeks later at another wedding where Vicky's close friend was married. So much happiness!

A Beautiful, Casual Fun Wedding for a Most Awesome Ana & Devin
I discovered Rockwall Winery in Alameda while working with Ana and Devin. This venue is perfect for those creative minds who don't mind working with a blank slate. Ana and Devin were married on a beautiful July afternoon with the San Francisco skyline behind them. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous, filled with lots of fuscia and orange gerber daisies, the venue decorated by the winery's barrels, mini appetizers, and delicious food. They were such a fun couple to work with, and truly loved by their friends and family, who secretly organized a flash mob dance to Michael Jackson's Billy Jean. It was extremely awesome. They danced the night away while giving away hats, mardi gras beads, and other props that Ana's cousin had made from materials bought in El Salvador, where Ana's family is from. The guests went crazy for them! It was a pleasure working with Ana and Devin; she was one of those dream clients: super organized, sweet, and knew exactly what she wanted. LOVE it!

Persians sure know how to P-A-R-T-Y!
We got to coordinate our first Persian wedding, and boy was it fun! Sete and Robert were the sweetest couple to work with, so easy going and fun! They had the traditional Sofre Aghd, an elegant Persian wedding decoration which symbolizes different things: sugar cones symbolize sweetness and happiness, eggs/almonds/walnuts symbolize fertility, gold coins/bread/herbs/cheese symbolize wealth and prosperity were just a few of the many symbols. After Sete and Robert were married they each dipped one pinky finger into a cup of honey and feed it to the other to represent sweetness in life.
The wedding was so awesome! So many sweets to share, traditional Persian desserts, baklava, and lots of dancing. Those Persians sure know how to party!! What a wonderful wedding, and we're so happy to have been a party of Sete and Robert's big day!
The happy couple!

An Enchanted, Fairytale Wedding!
If you know me, you know I LOVE LOVE Disneyland and all things Disney. We went quite often growing up as a child, I lived in FLorida after college to work in the Walt Disney World Internship, and have visited both Disney parks in Tokyo. I still even have my autograph book from the 1980's; I think I was obsessed with characters. So when Ashley and Will asked me to coordinate their wedding in Disneyland, I was floored!
But I don't believe I'm as huge as fan as Ashley and Will. It was Tokyo Disneyland were Will had proposed, Disneyland where they exchanged their vows, and a Disney cruise to the caribbean where they celebrated their honeymoon.
I loved everything about their wedding. Ashley rode to the ceremony in style; Cinderella's enchanted coach, complete with white horse, three footmen, and Cinderella's glass slipper that held the rings. Ashley and Will are such a fun couple, totally Disney and very animated. There was a lot of singing during the wedding, including a duet to each other as they made their Grand Entrance into the ballroom. My favorite part has to be cake cutting with Mickey and Minnie; they are just so cute! Will put together a cardbox, made entirely of legos, complete with Sleeping Beauty's castle and Mickey Mouse!
What was most impressive was the paper model centerpieces that Ashley and Will put together along with their wedding party. Hundreds of hours went into crafting these models, each representing landmarks at Disneyland. I just can't believe how much time and effort it took to make these, and then transport them from the Bay Area to Southern California. Such dedication.
Their programs were modeled after the old Disneyland ride tickets; denoting A, B, C, D for rides, where certain rides needed a certain letter ticket to ride, depending on popularity.
I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Ashley and Will on their Disney wedding. It was absolutely UH-MAZING, a real, enchanted, Fairytale wedding! THank you Ashley and Will !!
